Leptocorisa acuta (Thunberg, 1783), commonly called the paddy earhead bug, is a species of true bug. This species has been recorded in northern Australia, Malesia, and Taiwan. Its original basionym is Cimex acutus, and it is currently classified in the family Alydidae. It is one of multiple recognized rice bug species, and it can often be confused with the related species Leptocorisa oratoria.
