Lemonia taraxaci, commonly known as the autumn silkworm moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Brahmaeidae. Older classification systems placed this species in the family Lemoniidae instead. It was first formally described by Michael Denis and Ignaz Schiffermüller in 1775. This moth is found in south-eastern Europe. Its wingspan measures between 45 and 65 mm. The adult moth flies from August to October, with the exact flight period varying by location. The larvae of Lemonia taraxaci feed on plant species from the genera Hieracium and Taraxacum.
