This species has been recorded in 12 southern and eastern African countries: Angola, Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Eswatini, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Its natural habitats are moist savanna and arable land.
