About Leioproctus fulvescens (Smith, 1876)

Leioproctus fulvescens adults reach approximately 10 millimeters (0.39 inches) in length, and have a dense covering of hair. The hair is typically yellow to orange-brown in color. This trait sets Leioproctus fulvescens apart from all other New Zealand Leioproctus species, which have white to cream-colored hairs instead.
