It is confirmed to occur in multiple countries and islands: the Czech Republic, Netherlands, Slovakia, Poland, Ukraine, Great Britain, Ireland, Norway, and Spain. This slug species lives in woodland habitats. Its diet consists of lichen, algae, and mushrooms; it only feeds on other dead slugs when no other food sources are available.
