Leccinellum albellum (Peck) Bresinsky & Manfr.Binder has a light brown cap that measures 3β7 centimetres (1+1β4β2+3β4 inches) wide. Its stem grows 5β9 cm (2β3+1β2 inches) tall and 7β15 millimetres (1β4β1β2 inch) thick. The mushroomβs flesh is whitish, and it produces an olive brown spore print. Between July and September, this species occurs in eastern North America, growing under hardwood trees, particularly oak.
