Lacinipolia explicata, commonly called the explicit arches moth, is a species of moth belonging to the family Noctuidae. This moth is found in the southeastern United States. Its distribution ranges from Kentucky and North Carolina south to Florida, and west to Missouri and Texas. The wingspan of adult Lacinipolia explicata measures 28 to 30 mm. Adults have two generations per year, and are active on wing in both April and September. The larvae of this species feed on plants in the genus Trifolium and on Taraxacum officinale.
