Laccoptera nepalensis is a species of beetle that belongs to the Chrysomelidae family. This species is distributed across China (specifically the provinces Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hainan, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Liaoning, Sichuan, Yunnan, and Zhejiang), Taiwan, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Adult individuals of Laccoptera nepalensis have a triangular body shape. Their pronotum is yellowish-brown or brown, and it usually has two small black spots. The base color of the elytral disc is yellowish-brown or brown, and the disc bears a number of spots.
