Labdia semicoccinea is a moth species belonging to the family Cosmopterigidae. Its native distribution includes Japan, Taiwan, Java, India, China, and the Caucasus, and it has been introduced to parts of Europe. This moth has a wingspan ranging from 12 to 15 mm. The larvae of Labdia semicoccinea feed on Cajanus indicus, Polyscias, Zamia, and Prunus donarium, and develop inside the stems of their host plants.
