About Krigia dandelion (L.) Nutt.
Krigia dandelion, common name potato dwarfdandelion, is a North American plant species belonging to the Asteraceae family. It is native to the southeastern and south-central United States, with its distribution ranging from the Florida Panhandle to Texas, and extending north to Kansas, southern Illinois, and Maryland. This species is a perennial herb that grows up to 50 cm (20 inches) tall. Typically, one plant produces one flower head per flower stalk. Each flower head contains 25 to 34 yellow or yellow-orange ray flowers, and has no disc flowers.
