Kohleria hirsuta, commonly known as the woolly kohleria, is a flowering plant species that belongs to the Gesneriaceae family. It is native to northern South America, and has been introduced to the Dominican Republic. In 1993, this plant was awarded the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit under its synonym Kohleria eriantha, categorized as a hothouse plant. It appears that this award has since been rescinded.
