Kallstroemia grandiflora, commonly known as the Arizona poppy, is a summer annual herb species. It grows in the deserts of the Southwestern United States, California, and northern Mexico. This plant is not related to true poppies. It has opposite, pinnately compound leaves. Its large, showy flowers often grow in abundance after summer monsoon rains. The species has bristly trichomes, stipules, and orange corollas.
