Kalanchoe luciae, commonly known as the paddle plant or flapjacks, is a flowering plant species in the genus Kalanchoe. It is native to northeast South Africa, Eswatini, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe. This species has received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. Kalanchoe luciae is frequently confused with Kalanchoe thyrsiflora, a similar species that is rarely cultivated. K. luciae has larger, more vibrant leaves, and produces unscented white flowers. In comparison, K. thyrsiflora has fragrant yellow flowers.
