Kadua affinis, commonly called manono or variable starviolet, is a flowering plant species in the Rubiaceae family, native to the Hawaiian Islands. This plant is highly variable, and displays a range of growth forms: liana, sprawling shrub, shrub, and tree. Its flowers range in color from yellowish-green to purplish. The high degree of variation in this species largely explains why it has accumulated 200 synonyms.
