About Junonia natalica (Felder, 1860)

Junonia natalica, commonly known as the Natal pansy or brown pansy, is a butterfly species belonging to the family Nymphalidae. This species is found in the Afrotropical realm. Adults have a wingspan of 45 to 50 mm for males, and 48 to 55 mm for females. The larvae of Junonia natalica feed on Asystasia gangetica and Phaulopsis imbricata.
