Juncus bulbosus, commonly known as the bulbous rush, is a flowering plant species that belongs to the rush family Juncaceae. It is native to Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Europe, Macaronesia, and northwest Africa. This species has been introduced to Australia, New Zealand, and several sites in northern North America. Juncus bulbosus can grow to nuisance levels in lakes and streams.
