Juglans mollis Engelm., commonly known as Mexican walnut, is a walnut species that belongs to the Juglandaceae family. It is native to Mexico, and was first formally described by Georg Engelmann. This species grows in temperate and tropical forests, at altitudes ranging from 800 to 2,500 metres, which equals 2,600 to 8,200 feet.
