About Johnstonella angustifolia (Torr.) Hasenstab & M.G.Simpson

Johnstonella angustifolia is an annual herb that typically grows to less than half a meter in height, and its surface is covered in long hairs and bristles. It bears a number of small, linear leaves, most of which are located toward the base of the plant. Its erect stems are covered by inflorescences arranged in a cane-shaped curl, a structure similar to that of fiddleneck flowers. Each flower is white with yellow coloring in the throat region, and measures a few millimeters across.
