About Jasminum multipartitum Hochst.

Jasminum multipartitum Hochst., commonly called Starry Wild Jasmine, is a scrambling climber that reaches 3 meters (9.8 ft) in height, and can also be grown as a shrub that reaches 1.5 meters (4.9 ft) in height. It grows well in full sun or semi-shade. It produces large quantities of white, scented, star-shaped flowers, which attract a variety of bird species. Its flowering season runs from late spring through summer. It is one of roughly ten jasmine species native to South Africa, with an overall native range that also includes Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and Eswatini. In its natural habitat, it grows in the woodlands of the Eastern Cape and Kwazulu Natal, and can be found inland as far as Johannesburg.
