Izatha katadiktya is a species of moth that belongs to the family Oecophoridae. This species is endemic to New Zealand. Within New Zealand, it has been recorded from the eastern South Island, and it is thought to also occur in Hawkes Bay. The wingspan of male Izatha katadiktya ranges from 21 to 27.5 millimetres, while the wingspan of females ranges from 21.5 to 30 millimetres. Adult moths of this species have been observed and recorded in the months of October, November, and January. The larvae of Izatha katadiktya feed on dead wood.
