About Isturgia famula (Esper, 1787)
Isturgia famula is a moth that belongs to the family Geometridae. This species is found in southern Europe. Adult moths are active from May to June, and they fly during the day on sunny days. The larvae of Isturgia famula feed on plants from the genera Cytisus, Genista, Sarothamnus, Spartium, and Ulex. This species overwinters in the pupal stage, inside the ground.
