About Isophrictis anteliella (Busck, 1903)

Isophrictis anteliella is a species of moth belonging to the family Gelechiidae. It was first described by August Busck in 1903. This species is native to North America, and has been officially recorded in the U.S. states of Illinois, Ohio, New Jersey, and Texas. Adults of Isophrictis anteliella have a wingspan measuring between 12 and 12.5 millimeters. The forewings of this moth are a darker reddish brown, with two short, black longitudinal streaks: one along the fold, and another similar streak in the center of the wing. The second discal stigma is circular and black. A thin white line extends from the costal region at the apical one-fourth of the wing, running very obliquely outwards across the wing to the termen. The hindwings are dark gray.
