About Ischiodon scutellaris (Fabricius, 1805)

The scientific name of this species is Ischiodon scutellaris (Fabricius, 1805). For adult individuals, the eyes are glabrous, the abdomen is flat and slightly convex on the dorsal side, and the body length is approximately 1 centimeter. The thorax is shiny black, with a yellow edge along each of its sides. The scutellum is yellow, while the postalar callus is black. Most legs are colored orange to yellow, but the coxae and trochanters are black. The eggs of this species are oval and white. Larvae are bright green-yellow, with a white stripe running across the body.
