Isa textula, commonly known as the crowned slug moth or skiff moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Limacodidae. It is native to North America, where its distribution ranges from Minnesota, southern Ontario, and Massachusetts in the north, south to Florida, Mississippi, and Texas. Its larvae feed on the leaves of a variety of tree species, including oak, cherry, maple, basswood, elm, and beech. Note that a different moth species, Prolimacodes badia, also shares the common name skiff moth.
