Iridopsis ephyraria, commonly called the pale-winged gray, is a species of moth belonging to the family Geometridae. It was first formally described by Francis Walker in 1860. This moth is found in the United States and southern Canada, east of the Rocky Mountains, ranging from New Brunswick in the north to Florida in the south, westward to Texas, and north again to Alberta. The wingspan of adult Iridopsis ephyraria measures 23 to 28 millimeters. Adult moths are active and in flight from June through September. The larvae of this species feed on a wide variety of woody plants, including species from the genera Fraxinus, Betula, Acer, Salix, and species such as Abies balsamea, Prunus virginiana, Tsuga canadensis, Ulmus, Ribes uva-crispa. The wasp species Pimpla pedalis acts as a parasitoid of Iridopsis ephyraria pupae.
