Ionopsis utricularioides, commonly known as the delicate violet orchid, is an epiphytic orchid species that is native to warmer regions of the Americas. It has been recorded growing in Florida, Mexico (ranging from Nayarit to Quintana Roo), all seven countries of Central America, most of the West Indies including the Cayman Islands, South America extending as far south as Paraguay, and the Galápagos Islands.
