About Inocybe pallidicremea Grund & D.E.Stuntz
The cap of Inocybe pallidicremea is lilac-colored, measuring 4โ10 centimeters in diameter. Its surface is either smooth or silky fibrillose. Caps start conical in shape, maturing to become convex or umbonate. The stipe is 2โ6 centimeters long and 0.3โ0.6 centimeters wide. This species has a cortina, which sometimes leaves a distinct ring zone around the stipe. The gills are either adnate or sinuate; they begin gray when young and turn brown as the mushroom matures. The spore print of Inocybe pallidicremea is brown. This is a mycorrhizal fungus that forms a symbiotic relationship with conifer trees, and it produces fruiting bodies from late summer through early winter.
