Ilex micrococca Maxim., with the synonym Ilex polyneura and common name thin-leaf holly, is a widespread flowering plant species in the family Aquifoliaceae. This species is native to Tibet, southern China, Hainan, Taiwan, northern Myanmar, Peninsular Malaysia, Vietnam, and Japan. It is a deciduous tree that can reach 20 m (66 ft) tall, and it grows in evergreen broadleaf mountain forests at elevations between 500 m (1,600 ft) and 1,900 m (6,200 ft).
