About Ilex ficoidea Hemsl.

Ilex ficoidea, commonly called the fig-leaved holly, is a flowering plant species belonging to the Aquifoliaceae family. It is native to southern China, Taiwan, and Vietnam. It is an evergreen shrub or tree that typically grows 2 to 10 meters (7 to 33 feet) tall. It can be found growing in a wide range of habitats, at elevations between 100 and 1,500 meters (300 and 4,900 feet). It is planted and used as a street tree in Hong Kong.
