The Jamaican oriole, with the scientific name Icterus leucopteryx (Wagler, 1827), is a bird species that belongs to the Icteridae family. This species is found in Jamaica and on San Andrés, which is a Colombian island. The subspecies I. l. bairdi was previously present on Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands, but it is now extinct, so the species is extirpated from that location. The natural habitats of the Jamaican oriole are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, and heavily degraded former forest.
