Hypsopygia olinalis, commonly known as the yellow-fringed dolichomia, is a moth species belonging to the family Pyralidae. This species is native to eastern North America. Adults of Hypsopygia olinalis have a wingspan that ranges from 16 to 24 mm. The adult flight period varies by location: in northeastern regions of the United States, adults are active from May to August, while in North Carolina, adults are on wing from May to September. The larvae of this moth feed on plants from the Quercus genus.
