About Hypselodoris jacksoni N.G.Wilson & Willan, 2007

Hypselodoris jacksoni is a species of nudibranch first described by N.G.Wilson and Willan in 2007. Its body is yellow and white, with an orange mantle. Black longitudinal lines run along the sides of its body, while the dorsum has a crisscrossed pattern of black lines. This species has bright orange rhinophores, and white gills outlined in orange. It can grow to a total length of at least 35 millimeters. Individuals have been observed feeding on yellow sponges that belong to the genus Euryspongia. This nudibranch occurs in eastern Australia, distributed throughout the Coral Sea.
