About Hypselodoris emma Rudman, 1977
Hypselodoris emma has a pale-yellow body, with purplish-blue coloring on its mantle edge and foot. Typically, three purple lines run lengthwise down the dorsum, separated by diffuse brown patches. Its gills and rhinophores are reddish brown. This species looks very similar on the outside to Hypselodoris maridadilus and Hypselodoris whitei. Hypselodoris emma can grow to a total length of at least 40 mm, and it has been observed feeding on sponges that belong to the genus Dysidea. This nudibranch species is found across the entire tropical Indo-Pacific Ocean.
