About Hypselodoris brycei Gosliner & R.F.Johnson, 2018
Hypselodoris brycei has a translucent white body. It features a deep violet marginal band on its mantle, with paler violet pigment spread across the entire mantle surface. Its gills and rhinophores are red to orange in color, with purple at their base. A purple band runs around the edge of this species' foot. The species can grow to a total length of at least 50 mm. This nudibranch species was first described from a specimen collected at Epsilon Island, Montebello Islands, Western Australia, at coordinates 20.4513°S 115.5827°E. It is currently only known to occur along the coast of Western Australia, ranging from the Houtman Abrolhos Islands southward to the Exmouth Region and Dampier Archipelago.
