About Hypselodoris bertschi Gosliner & R.F.Johnson, 1999
Hypselodoris bertschi is a species of nudibranch described by Gosliner and R.F.Johnson in 1999. It has a translucent white body marked with longitudinal opaque white lines that are flecked with black-purple spots. Its gills and rhinophores are translucent white, with both the tips and bases lined with orange. There has been historical confusion around the naming of this species, and it is easily mixed up with the related species Hypselodoris peasei. This nudibranch can grow to a total length of at least 25 millimeters. It is currently only known to occur in Hawaii, located in the central Pacific Ocean.
