Hypocosmia pyrochroma is a species of snout moth that belongs to the genus Hypocosmia. It was first described by E. Dukinfield Jones in 1912. The species is naturally found in Argentina and Brazil. It has also been intentionally released in Australia and South Africa to biologically control the invasive weed cat's claw creeper, scientifically named Dolichandra unguis-cati (L.) L.G.Lohmann.
