Scientific name: Hyperaspis bigeminata (Randall, 1838)

Description: Adult individuals of this species reach a body length between approximately 2.40 mm and 3.35 mm. Male individuals have yellow coloring along the anterior margin and lateral area of the pronotum. For female individuals, the anterior margin of the pronotum is black, while the lateral area of the pronotum is yellow. Each elytron of the species has a single yellow or red apical spot.
