About Hylobates funereus I.Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire, 1850
The eastern grey gibbon, also called the northern grey gibbon, has the scientific name Hylobates funereus I. Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire, 1850. It is a primate that belongs to the gibbon family Hylobatidae. This species is endemic to northeastern Borneo. It can be found in Kalimantan, Sarawak, and Brunei. Its range extends south from Sabah to the Mahakam River in East Kalimantan, and west to Baram in Sarawak.
