About Hyla molleri Bedriaga, 1889

Hyla molleri, commonly called the Iberian tree frog or Moller's tree frog, is a species of frog belonging to the family Hylidae. This species is endemic to the Iberian Peninsula and the extreme southwestern part of France. It was previously classified as a subspecies of Hyla arborea, but was recognized as a separate distinct species based on genetic differences. Its specific epithet molleri was chosen to honor Adolphe F. Moller (1842–1920), a Portuguese botanist.
