The inflorescence is a compact arrangement of up to 9 pink flowers. Each flower is elongated, with its corolla held inside a tubular calyx made of sepals; the entire flower structure may be over one centimeter long. The fruit is a legume pod 2 to 3 centimeters long, which holds several beanlike seeds.
