About Hornungia alpina (L.) O.Appel

Hornungia alpina (also known under the synonyms Hutchinsia alpina and Pritzelago alpina) is a flowering plant species belonging to the Brassicaceae family. It is native to mountain regions of Southern and Central Europe. Its native range extends as far south as northern Spain – specifically the Pyrenees and Cordillera Cantábrica – central Italy, and North Macedonia. This species is sometimes cultivated as an ornamental plant for garden use.
