Horisme vitalbata, commonly known as the small waved umber, is a moth species that belongs to the family Geometridae. It was first formally described by Michael Denis and Ignaz Schiffermüller in 1775. This species is found in Europe. The wingspan of adult Horisme vitalbata measures 30 to 35 millimeters, and the forewings have a length of 15 to 17 millimeters. Adult moths produce two generations per year, flying first from May to June, and again in August. The caterpillar larvae of this species feed on Clematis vitalba.
