Horisme tersata, commonly known as the fern, is a moth species belonging to the family Geometridae. It was first described by Michael Denis and Ignaz Schiffermüller in 1775. This species is found in the Palearctic realm. It has a wingspan ranging from 31 to 36 mm, and its forewings measure 14 to 18 mm in length. Adult moths produce one or two generations each year, flying from May to August. The larvae of Horisme tersata feed on Clematis vitalba.
