This species, Homadaula anisocentra, was first described by Meyrick in 1922. Adult individuals reach about 10 millimetres (0.4 in) in length. Their bodies are silvery gray, and their wings are covered with small black dots. Fully grown larvae are approximately 15 mm (0.6 in) long, with body color ranging from green to dark brown, and distinct white stripes along their bodies.
