Scientific name: Holcosus quadrilineatus (Hallowell, 1861). H. quadrilineatus is brown, with four light lines running along its back. Juveniles of this species have metallic-blue tails. This species occurs in western Panama, Costa Rica, and southeastern Nicaragua. It lives in open habitats.
