Hippotion osiris is a moth species belonging to the family Sphingidae. It is common across most of the Ethiopian Region, including both Madagascar and the Seychelles. Occasional vagrant individuals of this species have been recorded in Spain. It is uncommon along the East African coast, and this moth acts as an occasional migrant.
