Heuchera hirsutissima is a rhizomatous perennial herb that has small, lobed, rounded leaves. It grows an erect, hairy inflorescence that bears light pink flowers. This perennial species is endemic to the San Jacinto Mountains of Riverside County, California, where it grows on rocky slopes. Though it is uncommon in the wild, it is cultivated to be used as an attractive garden flower and ornamental plant.
