Heteroconis ornata is a species of Australian lacewing. It was first described by Günther Enderlein in 1905. This species is native to Queensland and New South Wales in Australia. It was first recorded in New Zealand in 1988, and by the end of the 1980s, a small established colony had been found in West Auckland, New Zealand.
