About Herminium monorchis (L.) R.Br.
Herminium monorchis, commonly known as the musk orchid, is a common orchid species. It is widespread across much of Europe and northern Asia, ranging from France to Japan. This range includes China, Siberia, Mongolia, Ukraine, Germany, Italy, and Scandinavia, among other areas. In Britain, it has a localised distribution, with known sites including Ham Hill in Wiltshire and Noar Hill in Hampshire.
