Hermeuptychia hermes, commonly known as the Hermes satyr, is a butterfly species belonging to the genus Hermeuptychia in the Nymphalidae family. This species has a distribution that ranges from southern Texas in the United States, through Mexico, and extends to Brazil (occurring in Rio de Janeiro and Mato Grosso do Sul), Suriname, and Bolivia. Its natural habitat includes forest edges and shaded lawns. The wingspan of Hermeuptychia hermes measures approximately 31 mm.
